Rocka is named partically after one of my favourite bands (The Hot Lies). She is named this for a reason, she is indeed a rock baby. When she was small she gave her dam awful trouble and never seemed to sleep or failing that even calm down. The doctor came and was quite concerned she would burn herself out which would be dmaging as a foal. So we tried playing music in the barn. Classical and all the slow easy listening stuff; she hated it. If anything it made her more edgy. So we tried some rock/punk music and the first time she calmed down it was when I played The Hot Lies. It's been our way to calm her ever since. She is a live wire but so far hasn't had any major vices other than the occasional nip but nothing serious. I have a feeling once she is trained and ready to go she will make a fantastic eventer or long distance horse. I include long distance because she has a lot of stamina and is not as heavy as her dam and sire. I think she caught a bit of the mustang from Silvers Herd member OPceano Ojo her grand sire.
