There is a reason why the horses here are some of the best, let me show you why.
In the 2006 Fathoms most desired stud voted on by members two out of the nine final studs where bred from FS horses or peviously owned by FS. One (Touchstone) coming in second and secondly (Impossible Determination) coming in a three way tied third.
In the 2006 Fathoms Best Broodmare award voted on by members. FS's long time champion racing mare Stormwing came in first place.
In 'The Breeder's Recognition Awards 2006' Stormwing was again nominated as one of the best broodmares.
In the 2006 'Eclipse Awards' a prestigious annual award specificaly for racing horses Murder Afire was nominated for Best 2 year old, Xenophon for Best Older Horse and Fail Scene Stables were nominated for both Best Breeding Stable and Best Owner. On top of that five other horses related or previously coming from FS horses including Geronimo and Faith in Shadows were also nominated. Things said during these nominations include:
Nominated for Best Owner: Fail Scene Stables [SB exploded onto the racing scene with a second in the BC Classic with Determination and a DTC winner in Murder Afire]
Nominated for Best Breeder: Fail Scene Stables [Bred Xenophon, Dynasty, Tempest, Determination, Belladona, Mockingbird, Regency, Murder Afire, and the list goes on lol]
GS Ultimate Challenge a Fly High Silver foal took out the award for the highest auctioned service fee at $18,000,000 during the annual stallion service auction of 2006/7 dubbed the 'Renewal of Life' auction. Fail Scenes entered stud Indian Hawke came in at the sixth highest selling for $60,000.
In the annual and prestigious racing awards the Éclipse Awards various horses originating from FS lines took out the awards for 2006. Geronimo (Fly High Silver x Xenophon) took out Horse of the Year and Older Male of the Year. GS Remington (Stormwing x Smiles Boo) won the Three Year Old Colt of the Year. Touchstone (Xenophon x Freedom Star) won the Two Year Old Colt of the Year.
